Revenant Episode 3

Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se set out to find answers about the connected criminal cases that took place in their town. Meanwhile, the detectives led by Hong Kyung also begin to move. In "Revenant" episode 3, the truth behind the possession of the evil spirit gets revealed. Read on to know more.

A Missing Case In Town

In the new episode of "Revenant," Lee Hong Sae (Hong Kyung) and Seo Mun Chun (Kim Won Hae) find an unusual connection that ties the three suicide cases in the city.

Every victim is friends with one another and goes to the same school. As the detectives dig deeper, they chance upon a case about a missing girl who's acquainted with the three.

Meanwhile, Goo San Young (Kim Tae Ri) and Yeom Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se) also dig for new information to find clarity about what happens around them.

When the two meet an old man who knows Goo San Young's late father, they also learn that a young girl who's connected to the three dead students is missing-the same girl the detectives are looking for.

The Police's New Theories

As they look for Lee Tae Young (Lee Ha Eun), the four meet at the missing girl's house. They also see the suicide tree with the three young students' corpses hanging from it.

The detectives believe that the young girl has eloped due to some reasons. It is revealed that Lee Tae Young is knee-deep in debt and goes into hiding to escape.

However, the money lender who also happens to be the cafe owner who Lee Tae Young works for has done fraudulent loan activities in the past, and has also pressed the young girl into paying.

Goo San Young calls the police and when they arrive at the cafe, the detectives see the burned wrist mark on his hand, similar to the marks found in the three deceased students' wrists.

Meanwhile, Yeom Hae Sang finds Goo San Young at the bridge and realizes that the evil spirit who possessed the latter is the one who's talking to him.

The Evil Spirit's True Intention

At the end of the episode, it is revealed that the evil spirit took over Goo San Young's body and punished the cafe owner for his fraudulent schemes and dirty ways.

Unfortunately, the detectives are clueless about Goo San Young being present at every crime scene. Unlike them, Yeom Hae Sang knows the truth.

The evil spirit's mission is to cause harm to those who had wronged and hurt Goo San Young.
