Lee Junho and YoonA's agencies updated on the "King the Land" onscreen partners' dating rumors.

After an outlet claimed that the celebrities had been dating even before their K-drama started, the actors' labels made a new statement regarding the duo's reported romance.

Lee Junho & YoonA's Agencies Update on Romance Between 'King the Land' Stars

In a report obtained by a local news portal, YoonA's agency, SM Entertainment, released a brief statement, addressing the duo's rumored relationship status.

"The two are just close, and the dating rumors are not true," as mentioned by a representative.

The same goes for Lee Junho's agency, JYP Entertainment, which echoed the same stance and clarified that upon checking, the actor and the Girls' Generation member are "close" and that the "dating rumors are groundless."

To recall, K-drama fans were stunned to hear the dating rumors surrounding the "King the Land" stars.

According to an exclusive report cited by a media outlet, the lead stars accepted the K-drama offer because of their relationship and have been dating even before the start of the production.

Following this, their respective agencies said that they would "look into the matter."

While both of them are part of K-pop groups, the 33-year-old actress made her debut in 2007, a year earlier than 2PM's Lee Junho

YoonA then transitioned into acting after delivering show-stopping performances in "You Are My Destiny," "Love Rain," "Confidential Assignment," "The King Loves," "EXIT," and the smash-hit K-drama "Big Mouth" with Lee Jong Suk.

On the other hand, Lee Junho also starred in various remarkable K-dramas like "Good Manager," "Just Between Lovers," "Wok of Love," and "The Red Sleeve," where he bagged various recognitions.

'King the Land' Dominates Most Buzzworthy Dramas, Actors Lists

After a successful premiere on June 17, "King the Land" managed to gain the attention of viewers with its interesting storyline and the chemistry of the cast.

After airing its sixth episode, the rom-com series scored its first double-digit rating, landing an average nationwide viewership rating of 12 percent, as mentioned by Nielsen Korea.

The episode also saw a major increase in rating as compared to its previous episode of 9.7 percent.

With a new all-time high rating, viewers are expecting a continued increase in viewership as the drama progresses.

"King the Land" also took the top spot in the Most Buzzworthy Dramas and Actors rankings. As obtained by a media outlet, Good Data Corporation showed that the rom-com series was the TV show that generated the most buzz for the fourth week of June.

Meanwhile, YoonA and Lee Junho remain in the first and second ranks, respectively.
