Kang Ki Young Bags New Romance Drama
On July 5, it was reported that fan-favorite actor Kang Ki Young is starring as the lead star of the upcoming JTBC drama "Great Problem Solver" with Lee Ji Ah.
The upcoming series tells the chaotic world of marriage and divorce. It focuses on the solutions to punish "bad spouses" with the greatest divorce lawyer of South Korea.
Fans' curiosity skyrockets through the roof especially as "Great Problem Solver" marks Kang Ki Young's first ever romance drama after years of playing supporting roles in his previous works.
Kang Ki Young has established himself in the industry as everyone's favorite uncle and comedic relief in through his previous works like "Oh My Ghost" and "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
In the series, Kang Ki Young plays Dong Ki Joon, a former prosecutor who becomes an advisory counsel to married couples with unsaveable marriages.
He's a top-notch lawyer as he earned the nickname "Shepherd" and even had the highest prosecution rate in their office. Behind his lovely personality, he has a haunting and painful past that he wants to forget, raising anticipation.
In particular, attention is given to Kang Ki Young who challenges himself with a romance drama for the first time. He's predicted to deliver a never-before-seen performance through the work.
Kang Ki Young To Couple Up With Lee Ji Ah
To complete the main ensemble, legendary star Lee Ji Ah transforms into Kim Sa Ra in the forthcoming show.
She's the team leader of the divorce settlement company called Solution. Due to her painful past that was brought by her husband, she loses everything she has.
