Lee Byung Hyun never fails to amaze the public with his versatility as an actor. In his upcoming movie "Concrete Utopia," the award-winning actor left fans floored with his  unconventional visual transformation.

One month before the much-awaited premiere, Lotte Entertainment released new still cuts, teasing viewers on what to expect in the star-studded movie.

Will Lee Byung Hun Protect Fellow Survivors in 'Concrete Utopia'

In the latest teaser, the upcoming movie showcases the unique transformation of Lee Byung Hun. 

He takes on the role of Young Tak, who acts as the leader of Hwang Goong Apartment with the mission to protect his fellow survivors. 

"I was chosen for this apartment," the post reads, raising anticipation for Lee Byung Hun's role.

Apart from the award-winning actor, the movie also unveils character posters featuring the main cast.

Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young play a married couple named Min Sung, a salaryman who becomes Young Tak's right hand.

Meanwhile, his wife, Myung Hwa, is a former nurse who exhibits warmth and compassion for fellow survivors.

Adding to the list of "Concrete Utopia" cast members are Kim Sun Young as Geum Ae, Kim Do Yoon as Do Kyun, and "All of Us Are Dead" star Park Ji Hoo as Hye Won. 

The star-studded dystopian movie is scheduled to hit the big screen on August 2.

Based partly on "Happy Boy" part 2, written by Kim Soong Nyoong, "Concrete Utopia" is penned and directed by Uhm Tae Hwa of the 2016 film "Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned."

What's Next for Lee Byung Hun? 

Apart from the upcoming movie, Lee Byung Hun is booked and busy with back-to-back K-dramas.

After the healing drama "Our Blues," he is set to return as the frontman in "Squid Game" season 2.

Director Hwang Dong Hyuk previously mentioned that the upcoming sequel will focus on the frontman's character and his decision to participate in the death-defying games. 

Meanwhile, joining him in the upcoming sequel are Lee Jung Jae, Wi Ha Joon, Gong Yoo, Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Gyu Young, and more. 

Adding to the list of Lee Byung Hun's upcoming dramas is tvn drama series "Here."

He will be reunited with "Our Blues" cast members Shin Min Ah and Han Ji Min as they play the main characters.

Furthermore, joining the trio as lead stars are Nam Joo Hyuk and Bae Sung Woo.

Directed by  Kim Kyu Tae of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" and "Our Blues," "Here" tells the story of people who work for an international non-profit organization.
