Girl’s Day Yura To Make Film Debut With ‘Marrying the Mafia’ Remake
After a decade-long career as a television star, idol-turned-actress Girl's Day Yura is finally making her mark in the silver screen with Yoon Hyun Min.

Girl's Day Yura Lands First Ever Film Drama This 2023
Girl's Day Yura is finally debuting to the silver screen this year. On July 10, it was announced that the idol-actress will headline the forthcoming comedy film "Reboot: Glory Again" (working title) with "Bora! Deborah" actor Yoon Hyun Min.
The film is the 2023 remake of the hit drama "Marrying the Mafia" starring Kim Jung Eun and Jung Jun Ho which aired in 2002.
"Reboot: Glory Again" will follow the romantic comedy story of a young gangster who is set to marry his boss' daughter after spending one drunken night with her.
Girls Day Yura will take on Jang Jin Kyung, a vivacious young woman who was born to a loving yet scary father who runs his own organization like the army.
Through the forthcoming film, she is expected to make a lasting impression on the viewers as a mobster's daughter and a gangster's wife. With her experience, she's predicted to do well in her new acting role.
Since 2012, Yura has starred in various acting projects. Her most noteworthy dramas include "Radio Romance," "Now, We Are Breaking Up" and "Forecasting Love and Weather."
Since the new film will mark her first ever major acting project as well as her first film since her acting debut, anticipation is through the roof for the singer-actress.
With Yoon Hyun Min's help and expertise, prospective viewers are expecting to see a remarkable performance and romantic line that exude a cider-like freshness.

On the other hand, Yura first make an official entertainment appearance as a member of the girl group Girl's Day in 2010 which released iconic songs like "Expectation," "Something" and more.
"Reboot: Glory Again" hasn't announced further details yet. Filming will begin in the second half of 2023 so stay tuned.
Girl's Day Yura Joins 'Destined With You' Cast Ensemble
This summer, Yura is coming back with the newest romance series "Destined With You" with SF9 Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah.
The series depicts the romantic tryst between two people who are connected by fate and love, and is also cursed by a book that has been sealed for more than eternity now.
In the series, Yura plays Yoon Na Yeon, the gorgeous girlfriend of Rowoon's Jang Shin Yu. She is also the rival of Jo Bo Ah's Lee Hong Jo who's hiding her true colors underneath.
Yura guarantees viewers a worthwhile watching experience, and a highly engrossing work this summer. Catch the premiere of "Destined With You" on August 23 at 10:00 p.m. KST on JTBC and Netflix.
