While the previous featured numerous celebrities who made a comeback this 2023, various Korean stars headlined back-to-back K-dramas. From having completely different genres to playing new characters, these K-drama actors and actresses slayed each role.

With that said, here are the Korean stars who headlined two or more K-dramas in 2023.

Lim Ji Yeon

Following the start of her second heyday, thanks to "The Glory," Lim Ji Yeon is back on the small screen with two K-dramas this year.

At the time of her revenge K-drama with Song Hye Kyo, the 33-year-old actress was filming "Lies Hidden in My Garden."

The 8-episode K-drama depicts the story of two housewives who have opposite lives. However, they are bound by the secrets of their husband.

Lim Ji Yeon stars alongside another Hallyu queen, Kim Tae Hee, and plays the main lead in "Lies Hidden in My Garden."

After successfully wrapping up the series, she will be headlining the webtoon-based K-drama "The Killing Vote."

Scheduled to premiere on August 10, Lim Ji Yeon plays the lead character together with Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong.

Lee Do Hyun

Another "The Glory" lead star who had a back-to-back K-dramas this 2023 is Lee Do Hyun.

After the drama's season 2, the South Korean hearthrob headlined the hit series "The Good Bad Mother" with Ra Mi Ran. Viewers were delighted to see the duo playing the mother-son role.

The 14-episode K-drama made its premiere on April 26, just weeks after "The Glory" season 2 finale.

Lee Sung Kyung

Following her skyrocketing fame through the blockbuster series "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" in 2016, all eyes are on Lee Sung Kyung's ability to play various roles.

This 2023, she headlined 2 K-dramas. First was the Disney+ melodrama "Call It Love." She starred in the series with Kim Young Kwang, exuding major chemistry.

It was then followed by "Dr. Romantic" season 3, in which she reprised her role as Dr. Cha Eun Jae. In the third season, the drama showcased the character growth between her and Seo Woo Jin, played by Ahn Hyo Seop.

On the other hand, viewers are looking forward to seeing the duo in the fourth installment of "Dr. Romantic."

Moon So Ri

Award-winning actress Moon So Ri captivated viewers with her K-drama comeback, "Queenmaker," together with the equally-talented Kim Hee Ae, as they showcased amazing "womance" in the series.

After the Netflix series, she appeared in another K-drama.

Moon So Ri starred in "Race," a business-romance K-drama released by Disney+. The K-drama was also headlined by Lee Yun Hee, Hong Jong Hyun, and more.
