Kim Minju To Make Silver Screen Comeback With 'Hear Me'

On July 19, it was reported that Kim Minju will star as one of the main leads in the upcoming South Korean remake of "Hear Me."

Earlier this 2023, Hong Kyung of "Revenant" and Noh Yoon Seo of "Crash Course in Romance" have been cast to headline the remake of the 2009 Taiwanese film.

"Hear Me" tells the romantic story of a man who falls in love at first sight with a hearing-impaired woman. It also depicts how a love so strong breaks barriers between two different individuals.

The film was also well-received in South Korea during its premiere and even established a solid fan base. With this, producers decided to release a remake film to pay homage to the classic film.

To strengthen the casting lineup, former IZ*ONE member Kim Minju was cast to join the production as a professional swimmer and Noh Yoon Seo's younger sister.
