‘Revenant’ Episode 8: Kim Tae Ri Finds Ways To Stop Evil Possessions

Goo San Young Learns More About Her Father
Le Hong Sae (Hong Kyung) and Seo Mun Chun (Kim Won Hae) realize that the suicide cases from 1958 to 2023 are all connected.
Elsewhere, Goo San Young (Kim Tae Ri) learns that she has an incurable eye disease that she inherited from her late father, and that she will likely lose her vision in a year.
She figures out that her father didn't go blind because he was possessed by an evil spirit. Despite his selfish reason, she understands her father's decision to keep the demon.

Meanwhile, Yeom Hae Sang (Oh Jung Se) visits Baekchagol to lure the dark ghost by smearing his blood on the North Jangseung.
The Plant That Possesses History
When Goo San Young hears from him, she hurries to the village to save him. It is revealed that his death is near as the dark shadow soon takes over him.
Yeom Hae Sang notices a poster that hints at Goo Kang Mo's (Jin Seon Kyu) plant that he planted for a deceased person.

According to older people, one must bury the objects at the place where an evil spirit killed someone. The two then dig the plant to uncover another object of the evil spirit.
Goo San Young and Yeom Hae Sang then begin to strategize and find the objects that were involved with Goo Kang Mo to stop the possessions.
Just then, Goo San Young dissociates and becomes possessed once again which means that there's going to be another victim.
Will Lee Hong Sae Die?
The detectives are told not to open the door to their quarters no matter who knocks. Seo Mun Chun agrees to Yeom Hae Sang and only allows Lee Hong Sae inside. The knocking begins, he tells his part not to open the door.
When they hear Yeom Hae Sang's voice, Lee Hong Sae opens the door only to find a possessed Goo San Young smiling creepily at them.
