On July 27, "My Lovely Liar" director Nam Sung Woo and screenwriter Seo Jung Eun raised the bar of excitement for the drama as they got candid about the upcoming work.
Nam Sung Woo directed hit dramas "Love in Contract" and "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" while Seo Jung Eun penned the Netflix sitcom "So Now Worth It."
They teamed up this year to create tvN's new fantasy romance series "My Lovely Liar" which follows the fateful romance between a woman who can detect lies and a man who has a dark secret buried inside him.
Kim So Hyun plays liar hunter Mok Sol Hee. She has the ability to detect lies and uses it to her advantage while Hwang Minhyun portrays Kim Do Ha, a music genius with an unspeakable secret.
Besides the actors' cider-like visuals, Nam Sung Woo was drawn to the two because of their passion for acting. Kim So Hyun perfectly synchronizes with Mok Sol Hee who appears cold yet exudes a warm feeling.
Meanwhile, Hwang Minhyun showed a never-before-seen sign of him that fans will surely love. In addition, the chemistry between them truly embodied Mok Sol Hee and Kim Do Ha.
