'Mask Girl' Teasers Capture Go Hyun Jung & Nana's Contrasting Lives

On August 1, Netflix raised the tension for its upcoming crime drama "Mask Girl" by dropping a new set of teasers.

The show follows a woman living an ordinary life by day but has an eccentric life at night as a masked broadcast jockey (BJ) who provides entertainment to online watchers.

In the published photos, Kim Mo Mi, played by Nana, is seen in a world of reality and fantasy as she is clad in a prison uniform with a meek behavior in one photo.

In the second photo, she lives her best life dancing around in a bar. She enjoys her new life after turning over a new leaf. On the other hand, Go Hyun Jung's Kim Mo Mi is in a hellish bubble as Prisoner No. 1047.

She struggles alone after losing her stable job due to her involvement in a serious murder case. Her rugged look heightens the curiosity about what happened to her in the new series.

In addition, Ahn Jae Hong's Joo Oh Nam is also introduced as an office worker who loves to watch Kim Mo Mi's broadcasts during his free time.

Yeom Hye Ran also flaunted her transformation as Kim Kyung Ja, a passionate mother who does nothing but care for Joo Oh Nam. When her son goes missing, she unleashes her dangerous side, amplifying curiosity.

What To Expect From Go Hyun Jung & Nana's 'Mask Girl'

"Mask Girl" marks Go Hyun Jung and Nana's first acting work together, which is fortunately received well by the fans.

The two are known for their femme fatale aura and immersive performances from the past. In "Mask Girl," they will showcase an improved skill set that will leave every viewer wanting for more.

Regarding the drama, Nana revealed that she was drawn to Kim Mo Mi's eccentric life. It's also the reason why she accepted the offer. She stated, "She felt that there was no way out. I want to portray how she struggled and give her life justice."

As for Go Hyun Jung, she confirmed her appearance in the series because wants to prove that she can take on any challenge no matter how difficult it is.

Furthermore, the duo wants to echo the desire to love and be loved by their characters, and how to understand a complex character through the lenses of a two-character role.
