Lee Soo Hyuk to Potentially Lead Webtoon-Based K-Drama 'S-Line'

According to a report by a media outlet on August 11, Lee Soo Hyuk is being courted to portray the male lead of the series "S-Line."

It is a drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It is a work that mixes the ordinary and extraordinary, giving light to various human figures, and showcases the various groups of people and their different busy everyday lives. 

One day, a visible 'red line' appears above people's heads, connecting them physically to those they've encountered. The story centers around the realistic different facets of today's society, unraveling after one's secrets are suddenly exposed for all to see.

This book is said to have received critical acclaim from readers. Ggomabi (pen name), the author of the story, has previously explored and produced famous works like "Murder DIEary," which Netflix announced to produce as its original series.

Meanwhile, model-turned-actor Lee Soo Hyuk, who immediately rose to fame with his deep voice and outstanding physique is consistently making waves in the industry.

After he debuted as a model in 2006, the actor explored a new path, and started his acting career in 2010 through the film "The Boy from Ipanema" and eventually landed various roles in dramas such as "Tomorrow," "Doom at Your Service," "Born Again," "High School King of Savvy," and more.

He also starred in movies like "Pipeline," "Runway Cop," and "Horror Stories."

Lee Soo Hyuk Joins Stellar Cast of 'Queen Woo' 

On the other hand, aside from his modeling and brand endorsement schedules, Lee Soo Hyuk is also receiving back-to-back projects in acting. In addition to "S-Line," Lee Soo Hyuk is confirmed to join the star-studded cast of TVING's "Queen Woo." 

He takes the character of Go Bal Ki, and the actor will join forces with Jeon Jong Seo, Kim Moo Yeol, Ji Chang Wook, Jung Yu Mi, and Park Ji Hwan. The drama is expected to be released sometime in 2024. 

The cast members already had their script reading in which actors exhibited their immense acting ahead of the filming sessions. 

"Queen Woo" is Lee Soo Hyuk's drama comeback following "Tomorrow" in 2022.
