‘The First Responders 2’ Episode 4: Gong Seung Yeon Confesses To Kim Rae Won

Following the sudden demise of a colleague, Gong Seung Yeon doesn't waste her time and lets her feelings be known in the new episode of "The First Responders 2."

Song Seol Faces Danger Once Again

"The First Responders 2" episode 4 picks up where the previous episode left off.

To recall, Song Seol (Gong Seung Yeon) pays the late Bong Do Jin's (Son Ho Jun) home. At the elevator, a man attacks her with a hammer.

She lies on the ground with her blood pooling around her. Unfortunately, she becomes a hostage as the man swiftly relocates her before he carries on with his plan.

Meanwhile, the police detectives discover that the man is the ex-husband of the fire department chief who was previously interrogated by the authorities.

Jin Ho Gae Puts Puzzle Pieces Together

The man is also a former firefighter who lost his job after assaulting a citizen. Jin Ho Gae (Kim Rae Won) is told that the man ordered 30 candles which can last up to eight hours.

With this information, the police conclude that he really planned for another fire to take place.

Jin Ho Gae and his assistant Gongmyung Pil (Kang Ki Doong) head over to the man's house where they find a map where he planned the fire.

The military squad lends a hand to the police department as they head over the next location where a new fire will occur.

They learn that the serial arson that occurred is a crime of revenge as the man admits that he plans to avenge his colleagues who died in a fire caused by the builders of the building.

Jin Ho Gae Saves The Day

The police locate Song Seol who is inside an elevator with a bomb attached to the door. They then try to disarm the bomb as Jin Ho Gae captures the serial arsonist and takes him to custody.

Song Seol confesses her feelings to Jin Ho Gae who gladly reciprocates it. However, they remain friends in respect to Bong Do Jin's sudden demise.

At the end of the episode, Jin Ho Gae and the other officers receive huge recognition for saving the citizens' lives.
