‘Heartbeat’ Episode 16: Did Ok Taecyeon Fulfill Goal of Becoming Human?
As his condition got worse, Seon Woo Yeol (Ok Taecyeon) asked Shin Do Sik (Park Kang Hyun) to kill him in "Heartbeat" episode 16.
'Heartbeat' Episode 16: Shin Do Sik Kills Ri Man Hwi
In "Heartbeat" episode 16, Joo In Hae calmed the situation through the ongoing confrontation between Shin Do Sik (Park Kang Hyun) and Seon Woo Yeol.
The half-vampire half-human noticed her and comforted her by saying he would not leave and spend more time with her.
Na Hae Won (Yoon So Hee), who learned from Ri Man Hwi (Baek Seo Hoo) that Woo Yeol was about to die, immediately went to ask for facts about Woo Yeol's death. As a result, he said that no matter what happened, he would still protect Joo In Hae.
Shin Do Sik found out that it was Na Hae Won who leaked rumors about Seon Woo Yeol's identity, and met with her and had a serious conversation.
At that time, Man Hwi appeared and revealed to Hae Won that Do Sik was aiming for Woo Yeol's blood. However, the two just ignored him. Man Hwi threatened them by showing his fangs, and Do Sik picked up the knife and stabbed Man Hw's chest leading to his cold death.

Na Hae Won later informed Woo Yeol that Do Sik was aiming for his blood. The vampire went to talk to Shin Do Sik after hearing the news.
Seon Woo Yeol Takes Joo In Hae on Date
Meanwhile, amid the chaos, Seon Woo Yeol took Joo In Hae on a beach trip where they spent precious time together.
They sincerely expressed their gratitude for each other.
However, as they were having a great time together, Seon Woo Yeol felt dizzy and weak again. As his body deteriorated, In Hae panicked as Woo Yeol might die soon.
Later on, it was revealed that Yoon Ha Seon, his first love, was reborn, and he could feel her blood through Joo In Hae.
Seon Woo Yeol Reborn as Human
Seon Woo Yeol decided to die. He asked Shin Do Sik to stab him so he could finally be at peace as he couldn't eat Joo In Hae's blood because of his love for her.
Woo Yeol then died.
At the end of the episode, Joo In Hae continued to guard the mansion and held a simple party with the residents. She recalled her memories with Seon Woo Yeol while looking back at the memorabilia left by him.
To her surprise, Seon Woo Yeol appeared in front of her looking fondly at Joo In Hae. The two were smiling fondly at each other.
Despite all the struggles he encountered in the real world, Seon Woo Yeol was able to fulfill his goal to become a full human.
