‘The First Responders 2’ Episode 5: Kim Rae Won Declares Truce With Kang Do Ha

Jin Ho Gae Takes Over New Case

In the fifth episode of "The First Responders 2," Jin Ho Gae (Kim Rae Won) and his partner Gongmyung Pil (Kang Ki Dong) take over a new case.

Gongmyung Pil discovers that his neighbor's aunt Yong Sun Bok (Hwang Jung Min) has collapsed and died at her apartment.

However, suspicions are raised when the scene looks clean without traces. Yong Sun Bok's autopsy also says that it's more complicated than expected.

It is revealed that she died from trauma, multiple hemorrhages in her lungs and fractured ribs.

Oh Eui Sik Sends New Lead For Investigation

Jin Ho Gae goes undercover as a security guard at Chundong Villa to investigate. Yong Sun Bok is said to be a source of trouble for many residents in the apartment complex.

Because of this, the police rule that the tenants are all suspects for Yong Sun Bok's death. Jin Ho Gae finds five suspects who all had disputes with the victim in the past.

The police then enter the five civilians' DNA at the station. Meanwhile, Jin Ho Gae receives an urgent call from the National Forensic Service led by Oh Eui Sik (Kang Do Ha).

He thinks that she died from an air blast explosive. According to Oh Eui Sik, he has seen people die from trauma without coughing out blood before.

The red wounds in the victim's face reveal that heat was applied. Some foreign substances can also be seen that connect to rice boiled with water.

Jin Ho Gae Announces A Truce

Oh Eui Sik's new information clearly takes the investigation to a new director which irks Jin Ho Gae. This creates a heated tension between them.

Despite that, Oh Eui Sik persuades Jin Ho Gae that Yong Sun Bok's murderer is not someone holding a shovel.

Frustrated, Jin Ho Gae waves the white flag and declares a collaboration with the National Forensic Service, much to Gongmyung Pil's dissatisfaction.
