What to Expect in 'Gyeongseong Creature'

Directed by Jung Dong Yoon of "Hot Stove League" and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," the upcoming K-drama " "Gyeongseong Creature" is a sci-fi action thriller series that depicts the battle between monstrous creatures versus humans.

Set in 1945, Park Seo Joon's character, Jang Tae Sang, is the wealthiest man in the city of Gyeongseong, which is the epicenter of the incident.

Amid the chaos surrounding their town, he meets Yoon Chae Ok, played by Han So Hee. She is known for her skills with guns, knives, and handling machines. The reason she is in Gyeongseong is to find her mother, who has been missing for 10 years. In her journey, she unexpectedly gets involved with Jang Tae Sang.

Besides Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, the "Gyeongseong Creature" cast also includes Wi Ha Joon from "Squid Games," Claudia Kim, and veteran actress Kim Hae Sook.

Set to be released exclusively on Netflix, the upcoming K-drama will air in December 2023. Interestingly, "Gyeongseong Creature" will have two seasons with Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, who will both headline seasons 1 and 2.

Interestingly, besides the upcoming K-drama, the South Korean actor is booked and busy with multiple projects.

Besides "Gyeongseong Creature" seasons 1 and 2, his comeback movie, "Concrete Utopia," is gaining huge attention locally after topping the Korean box office.
