Kim Go Eun Joins Kim Tae Ri, Bae Suzy as Most Photogenic Actress

Kim Go Eun is being recognized not just for being an actress but also for her amazing visuals. It was after the "Little Woman" star received a new title, dubbing her as this year's photogenic queen. 

In a report obtained by SpoTV News, the award-winning star was given by the Korea Online Press Photographers Association (KOPA) a special recognition, announcing her as the Most Photogenic Actress of 2023. 

Kim Go Eun Was Voted the Most Photogenic Actress of 2023

Kim Go Eun attended the event along with KOPA members and chairman Jeong So Hee, along with Nikon Imaging Korea CEO Jeong Hae Hwan, for this year's KOPA and NIKON Press Photo Awards. 

Hosted by comedian Yoo Jae Pil, the event recognizes the hard work and craft of photojournalists in the fields of sports, entertainment, and more.

Interestingly, one of the highlights of the event was selecting the celebrities who they think suit the Most Photogenic Actress recognition; it was none other than Kim Go Eun, who was voted on by the KOPA members as this year's winner.

According to the actress, she feels "honored" to accept such an amazing award, especially coming from respected photojournalists.

"I think it was given to encourage me to do good work in the future, so I will work harder," she said, as obtained by the media outlet, adding, "I think this award will beautifully reflect the path I am taking and the times I will walk in the future."

Kim Go Eun is the 11th recipient of KOPA's "Most Photogenic Actress," following in the footsteps of fellow stars who were also given the same title. 

In 2022, Kim Tae Ri was voted by the photographers as the "photogenic" queen because of her charm and undeniable presence. Adding to the list of stars who previously held the title are Lee Min Jung, Han Ye Seul, Im Yoon Ah, Suzy Bae, Kim Seol Hyun, Son Ye Jin, and more.

Best known for her role as the bride in Goblin," together with Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na, Kim Go Eun made a mark in the industry by showcasing her wide acting spectrum through hit K-dramas. 

She starred in the blockbuster series "The King: Eternal Monarch" with Lee Min Ho, followed by a webtoon-based rom-com "Yumi's Cells" with Ahn Bo Hyun, where she took home Best Leading Actress in the first ever Blue Dragon Series Awards.

It was followed by another hit K-drama, "Little Women," where viewers witnessed her stunning drama skills. 

Now, one of her upcoming projects is the life drama series Eun Jung and Sang Yeon." She will be reunited with "Yumi's Cells" actress Park Ji Hyun and "The Glory's" Kim Gun Woo.
