‘Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon’ Announces Release Date + Unveils Interesting Family Photo
The highly-anticipated spin-off "Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon" continues to tease fans with a sneak peek at what to expect in the upcoming K-drama.
Headlined by Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook, JTBC unveiled an interesting poster featuring the three generations of women in their family.
'Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon' Showcases 3 Generations of Tough Women
On the broadcast network's official Instagram, JTBC introduced the characters of Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook with their unbeatable mother-and-daughter portraits.
"Pressure is a family history! Comic crime match between three mothers and daughters," the caption reads, suggesting that viewers will get to see an exciting story in the upcoming K-drama "Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon."
Veteran actress Kim Hae Sook exudes a powerful presence as she takes on the role of grandmother Gil Joong Gan, the living legend in Majang.
Meanwhile, "Lovers in Paris" star Kim Jung Eun, who returns to the small screen after 3 years, acts as Kang Nam Soon's mother.
As for Lee Yoo Mi, who is known for her characters in "Squid Game" and "All of Us Are Dead," plays the titular role of Kang Nam Soon, the second cousin of Do Bong Soon, played by Park Bo Young.
In the latest poster, it depicts the traits of each character while showing three generations of strong women.
In the comments section, fans expressed how excited they are to see the highly-anticipated spin-off.

Fans are looking forward to seeing Lee Yoo Mi play a superheroine role as well as her chemistry with Ong Seong Wu, who takes on the character of Kang Hee Shik.
'Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon' Release Date
As mentioned, the upcoming JTBC series is a spin-off of the 2017 hit K-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," starring Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik.
The upcoming comedy drama focuses on three generations of women with superhuman powers. Their mission is to expose drug-related crimes in the Gangnam area.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" also showcases Gang Nam Soon being the new heroine, as Hwang Geum Joo and Gil Joong Gan passed on their natural-born power to her.
The long wait is over for viewers as the much-awaited spin-off will premiere on TV.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" release date is set for October 7, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 10.30 p.m. KST via JTBC and TVING.
Besides the trio, cast members include Ong Seong Wu and Byeon Woo Seok as lead stars, while Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will reprise their roles as Do Bong Soon and Ahn Min Hyuk for a cameo appearance.
