Jeon Yeo Bin Shares Reasons For Choosing 'A Time Called You'

On September 4, Jeon Yeo Bin made a guest appearance in MBC FM4U's "Two O-Clock Date with Jae Jae."

The actress went on the show to promote their forthcoming romantic Netflix series "A Time Called You," which follows the love story of a woman and a man bound by fate.

While mourning her dead boyfriend, she gets transported back in time where she meets another man who resembles her then deceased lover, creating a bittersweet feeling.

In the series, Jeon Yeo Bin plays the roles of Han Jun Hee and Kwon Min Ju, a young girl who loses her first love and the girl whose body she ends up with after traveling back in time.

The series is based on the Taiwanese drama called "Someday or One Day," which is a work that Jeon Yeo Bin loved, and is one of the reasons why she accepted the offer.

According to the actress, she wanted to do the drama as soon as the South Korean remake was announced. Thankfully, she landed the work like "fate."

Regarding the remake, Jeon Yeo Bin shared that director Kim Jin Won created a differently colored picture that will still give off a similar yearning, melancholic feeling from the original work.

Meanwhile, the chemistry she has with Ahn Hyo Seop and Kang Hoon, who also joined the drama as male leads, is a huge factor to look forward to in the series. Catch "A Time Called You" this September 8 on Netflix!

Jeon Yeo Bin Confesses Affection For Krystal Jung

Apart from the heart fluttering elements in the series, fans will also be able to see the unrequited love between two individuals who share different feelings.

In the show, Jeon Yeo Bin's character is deeply drawn towards Ahn Hyo Seop's role, even when they travel back in the past.

Kang Hoon, who plays Ahn Hyo Seop's best friend, secretly endures a heartache as he has a deep regard for Jeon Yeo Bin which creates a difficult to ignore tension.

Jeon Yeo Bin surprisingly reveals that she had her fair share of unrequited love. Since she's introverted, she rarely pursues the people she likes.

During middle school, Jeon Yeo Bin and a boy from her class had a big crush on the legendary idol-actress Krystal Jung.

"There was no student who didn't have Jung Soojung (Krystal's Korean name) in their hearts," she revealed. "I really liked her."

Jeon Yeo Bin surprisingly gave up on her feelings in order not to "ruin" her friendship with someone from her class, eliciting laughter.

On the other hand, Jeon Yeo Bin became a successful fan after she and Krystal Jung worked together in the Cannes film "Cobweb" which will be released theatrically this September 27.
