Choi Woo Shik took to Instagram to he shared heartbreaking news about his fur baby, Choco. 

In his recent post, the actor penned a short yet sweet message as he bids goodbye to his beloved pet.

Choi Woo Shik dedicated an Instagram post to his Yorkshire Terrier dog named Choco, who recently passed away. 

Expressing his love and gratitude for being with him, the actor wrote his last message for his fur baby. 

"Choco, ah, I was so happy to meet you. Please keep watching me from there. Thank you so much," he wrote.

On Choi Woo Shik's Instagram, the actor often posts photos of Choco, introducing the cute little dog to his 8.7 million followers. 

Besides Choco, he used to have a dog named Ppoppi, who once sent the actor a coffee truck on the set of his K-drama.

In 2021, the South Korean hearthrob posted a photo featuring the coffee truck with a special message from his dog, along with a banner featuring Ppoppi.

"Our oppa, hwaiting! -Ppoppi" the message reads. 

It can be recalled that the dog first appeared in the variety show "Summer Vacation," which also aired in the same year. 

Choi Woo Shik Stars in 'Murder DIEary'

Apart from his heartbreaking post, Choi Woo Shik seemed to be filming a new project overseas. 

In one of his posts, the actor shared a series of shots featuring a stunning background in what looks like Australia, based on his caption.

After the 2021 hit K-drama "Our Beloved Summer" together with Kim Da Mi, Choi Woo Shik returns to the small screen with an interesting K-drama. 

He will headline the webtoon-based "Murder DIEary" along with Son Seok Koo and Lee Hee Joon. 

It depicts the story of an ordinary college student named Lee Tang, played by Choi Woo Shik, who gets caught up in a heated argument with a customer and accidentally kills him. 

Little did he know that the person he murdered was a serial killer. This is where he realized that he has the ability to identify bad people.

Due to this, he finds himself as a dark hero who punishes people, but he is being chased by authorities after putting justice in his own hands. 

Choi Woo Shik's new drama is helmed by Lee Chang Hee, the genius behind the hit K-drama "Strangers from Hell," and is set to premiere sometime in 2024.

Besides his upcoming K-drama, the South Korean hearthrob is busy with his fan meet, which will be in Japan in November.
