Enthusiasm For "The Heirs" Drives The Votes

Only a few more days are left in our poll for the top kdrama, actor and actress, and one thing is obvious. "The Heirs" has some very enthusiastic fans.

One indicator is that Lee Min Ho currently holds 63.1 percent of the votes for best actor. No one else even comes close. While he was excellent in other dramas such as "Personal Taste," "City Hunter," "Faith" and "Boys Over Flowers," it's a remarkable measure of fan support. Sixty-three-point-1 percent is a big jump on the next popular actor, Kim Woo Bin at 11.46, and he's also in "The Heirs." So Ji Sub, who starred in "The Master's Sun" only got 6.08 percent of the vote, with Lee Jong Suk follows at 5.22 percent and JYJ's Park Yoochun at 5.06.

"The Heirs" continues its good fortune in the best drama category. Slightly down from last week, the drama still scored 54.63 percent, almost 40 percent ahead of the second runner-up "Queen of Ambition" at 15.6 percent. The Hong Sisters' horror romcom "The Master's Sun" only got 6.45 percent of the vote, while "I Hear Your Voice," another hit, got 3.87 percent of the vote. "Flower Boys Next Door" has slowly inched up to fourth place at 3.35 percent and that drama also starred Park Shin Hye, the actress who played the lead in "The Heirs."

Some of the year's most highly rated dramas, "Empress Ki" and "That Winter The Wind Blows" got under 3 percent, while other excellent dramas, such as "Secrets" and "Gu Family Book" did not even get 2 percent. "Two Weeks" and "Nine" got less than a point. This list might look very different if "The Heirs" had not come out in 2013.

Topping the best actress list is Park Shin Hye at 51.3 percent for her roles in both "The Heirs" and "Flower Boy Next Door." Moon Geun Young remains in second place with 20.38 percent for "Cheomdamdung Alice" and "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji." Yoon Eun Hye has 9.23 percent for "Missing You" and "Future's Choice." Suzy follows with 5.96 percent for "Gu Family Book" and Lee Bo Young with 3.82 percent for "I Hear Your Voice" and "My Daugher Seo Young."

Hwang Jung Eum only earned 2.63 percent for her role in the drama "Secrets."

While "The Heirs" looks like a runaway success, anything is possible, and there's still time to affect the order of the other contenders. You can vote once a day.
