JTBC dropped new teasers, featuring the "Strong Girl Namsoon" cast, showcasing a spectacular action between the good and evil.

Headlined by Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeon Woo Seok, the upcoming action rom-com series is a spin-off of Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik's hit series "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."

'Strong Girl Namsoon' Teaser

As seen in the latest teaser, JTBC featured three generations of strong women with extraordinary strength. Their mission is to crack the drug-related crimes within the Gangnam area.

Lee Yoo Mi, who is best known for her roles in "Squid Game" and "All of Us Are Dead," takes on the character of Gang Nam Soon, the second cousin of Do Bong Soon, who has the same ability as her.

Amid her quirky and fun personality lies a woman with undeniable strength.

Meanwhile, her mother, Hwang Geum Joo, who also harbors the same ability, is a money tycoon known in Gangnam. The girl boss mom is played by the returning Kim Jung Eun.

Joining the list of generations of strong women is Gil Joong Gan, who is considered a living legend in their area. She is Gang Nam Soon's maternal grandmother and is played by veteran actress Kim Hae Sook.

In addition to the "Strong Girl Namsoon" cast, Ong Seong Wu plays police officer Gang Hee Shik. He is the youngest police officer at Gangnam Han River Police Station and Nam Soon's love interest.

Lastly, adding excitement to the series is the cold-blooded villain Ryu Shi Oh, played by Byun Woo Seok. He is also the CEO of a sales company called Dugo.

'Strong Girl Namsoon' Release Date

Helmed by Kim Jung Shik of "So Not Worth It" and "Work Later, Drink Now" and penned by Baek Mi Kyung of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" and "Mine," viewers get to see the highly anticipated spin-off on October 7 at 10:30 PM KST.

The upcoming K-drama will air every Saturday and Sunday via JTBC and TVING.

Interestingly, Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young will appear in a cameo in one of the episodes.

Meanwhile, the production team hints at exciting and thrilling moments between the three generations of strong women and "introduces heroes and villains with even more compelling charms.

The 29-year-old actress rose to fame after joining the cast of "Squid Game." Despite her short stint, viewers were captivated by her charm and were recognized because of her character Ji Yeong, or player no. 240.

After being the kind-hearted player in the Netflix series, she returned with a new drama, taking on the villain character in "All of Us Are Dead."

Due to her notable projects, TIME magazine considered Lee Yoo Mi one of the individuals on the 2022 list of "Next Generation Leaders."

During her interview with the outlet, she acknowledged the presence and global recognition that "further strengthened" her mindset for the changes around her.
