Go Yoon Jung Confirmed to Take New Role in 'Hospital Playlist' Spin-Off

On September 20, media insiders announced that Go Yoon Jung is confirmed to star in the soon-to-release drama "Someday, a Wise Resident's Life" (working title), which is the spin-off of the medical hit series "Hospital Playlist."

According to a source, "Someday, a Wise Resident's Life" will tell the realistic hospital life and friendship stories of professors and residents at a university hospital.

Teaming up for this another epic project is director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung, who created the "Reply" series and "Prison Playbook."

Go Yoon Jung will transform into a first-year resident at Jongro Yulje Obstetrics and Gynecology, her first doctor role.

As she prepares to wear a new hat, many are already anticipating what this breakout star could bring to the table, after she led multiple big projects namely "Law School," "Alchemy of Souls," and her ongoing series "Moving."

What We Know So Far About 'Someday, a Resident's Life'

Director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung are said to provide a fun and new roller coaster of emotions to the viewers in this project. They are known for their small but resonant stories in each work, wit, and unique, relatable materials.

Expectations are high for the fresh and unique storyline of "Someday, a Wise Resident's Life." Adding to the excitement are the actors and actresses who will join the cast lineup of the series.

Other talented creatives are expected to collaborate with Shin Won Ho and Lee Woo Jung. In addition, the spin-off is scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of 2024.

The staff added:

"Through the gradual growth of the residents, we tell a story that will have everyone cheering for them to become wiser one day."

Furthermore, Go Yoon Jung is serving a thrill with her ongoing fantasy series "Moving" and is garnering positive responses from the audience with her impressive performance.
