Following his appearance at the 76th Cannes Film Festival for the movie "Hopeless," also known as "Hwaran," after being invited to the Un Certain Regard section, viewers get to see Song Joong Ki's new movie on the big screen as officials announce the film's premiere date.
As seen in the teaser, the movie is scheduled to hit the big screen on October 11.

"Hopeless" is the debut film of director Kim Chang Hoon, which depicts the story of a boy who wants to escape his hellish life but ends up in a much worse situation.
The character is played by Hong Xa Bin, who takes on the role of Yeon Gyu. He unexpectedly meets the middle boss of an organization, Chi Geon, portrayed by Song Joong Ki.
Joining the duo as the lead star is singer-songwriter BIBI, who plays the character of Ha Yan. Song Joong Ki's movie is produced by Sanai Pictures, which is the company behind "Hunt," "New World," "The Shameless," and "Asura: The City of Madness."
Adding to the list of Song Joong Ki's upcoming projects is the highly anticipated film "Bogotá: City of the Lost."
The actor, together with co-stars Lee Hee Joon, Kwon Hae Hyo, Jo Hyun Chul, and more, filmed the thriller crime movie at the height of the pandemic, causing some delays during the production.
Moreover, Song Joong Ki is booked and busy with big-screen projects, as he is scheduled to headline the upcoming film "My Name Is Loh Kiwan."
