After successfully wrapping up the first season of "Moving," Disney+ introduces another thrilling K-drama, "The Worst of Evil," starring Ji Chang Wook. The South Korean hearthtrob is back in his natural element by keeping viewers on the edge of their seats with impressive action scenes.

During "The Worst of Evil" press conference, the cast members and director discussed what to expect in the new drama and the pressure of following the success of "Moving."

Will 'The Worst of Evil' Receive Same Response as 'Moving'? Director Reveals Honest Thoughts

"The Worst of Evil" release date is set for September 27, right before the Chuseok Holiday. With this, the new K-drama is drawing the attention of viewers and is considered one of the highly anticipated K-dramas to air this month.

Since it is scheduled to premiere after "Moving" concluded its first season, Ji Chang Wook's new drama is expected to follow the same success, especially since the new drama has been receiving favorable reviews ahead of its debut.

As for the director, Han Dong Wook admitted that he had mixed feelings about it.

"I'm glad 'Moving' did well earlier, but it also makes me feel a little worried," he said, as obtained by a local news outlet.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook felt positive about the release of the new K-drama, but he said that he felt "pressured" during the filming of "The Worst of Evil" after seeing the huge craze created by "Moving."

"As an actor in this work, I'm happy and grateful that it is going to premiere in a good time," he said. However, the actor said that the new series "has its own color" and different genre compared to "Moving," so viewers will get to see a whole new K-drama.

Fellow lead star Wi Ha Joon also hinted that "The Worst of Evil" is not a K-drama that can make viewers smile while watching the series with the family but promised that it "will bring a new feeling" to viewers.

What to Expect in 'The Worst of Evil'

Other than the Disney+ K-drama that will be Ji Chang Wook's return to action series, "The Worst of Evil" is the newest crime-action film that focuses on police officer Park Joon Mo's mission to infiltrate a drug organization in Korea that also spans neighboring countries like China and Japan.

One of his challenging tasks is to go undercover and earn the trust of the gang boss, Jung Ki Chul, played by Wi Ha Joon. Aside from this task, Park Joon Mo works alongside his wife, Yoo Eui Jung, an elite narcotics officer, played by Im Se Mi.

Interestingly, she happens to be Jung Ki Chul's first love.

Joining the cast of "The Worst of Evil" is singer-actress BIBI as Hae Ryeon.
