‘Twinkling Watermelon’ Episode 2: Ryeoun Meets Choi Hyun Wook By Fate
After gaining confidence to pursue music, Ryeoun lands himself a position in a band. In "Twinkling Watermelon" Episode 2, a mysterious music shop sends him back to 1995 where he meets Choi Hyun Wook.
'Twinkling Watermelon' Episode 2: Ha Eun Gyeol Joins A Band
Ha Eun Gyeol (Ryeoun) confidently does busking on the streets impressing the audiences. After his performance, three boys come forward and ask him to join their band.
After giving it much thought, Ha Eun Gyeol joins the band with the condition that his studies and family come first.
Ha Lee Chan Pursues Choi Se Kyung
"Twinkling Watermelon" episode 2 jumps into another timeline where Ha Lee Chan (Choi Hyun Wook) expresses his crush on Choi Se Kyung (Seol In Ah), a cello player from his school.
They are each other's complete opposites. The cello player grew up with money while Ha Lee Chan struggles to make ends meet, which is one of the reasons he should stop pursuing her.

In addition, Choi Se Kyung is also dating a medicine student who also came from money. Despite it all, Ha Lee Chan doesn't back down to impress her.
Ha Eun Gyeol's Big Dilemma
While Ha Eun Gyeol is practicing, he is notified that his father is caught up in an accident. It turns out that their landlord's son beat his father up, and has previously set the house on fire.
Because of this, Ha Eun Gyeol goes back to his bandmates, telling them that he can't be a part of the band anymore.
It leads to a heated argument as his friends couldn't understand what he is coming from. Ha Eun Gyeol then goes back to the guitar shop to find comfort from music.
The lady at the shop, the daughter of the deceased owner, invites her inside and gifts him his father's favorite guitar, which leaves him emotional.
Ha Eun Gyeol realizes his love for music and later joins the band once again. Things get more twisted when the landlord's son spreads rumors about him doing drugs with his bandmates.

His father, who's gullible enough to believe them, rushes to his concert and humiliates him in front of a huge crowd.
Ha Eun Gyeol Travels Back In Time
Distraught, Ha Eun Gyeol runs to an open field where he smashes his guitar into pieces. Just when he is set to break his guitar, he notices the two moons up in the sky.
He then finds the same guitar shop in the field and sells off his guitar. When Ha Eun Gyeol steps out of the shop, he finds himself in the old year of 1995.
At the end of the episode, he meets the younger version of his father, Ha Lee Chan, who can talk as well as hear without any problems, leaving viewers with a curious mind.
