Viewers got to see a round of thrilling scenes as "The Worst of Evil" episode 3 showcased Park Joon Mo's mission to be a part of the biggest drug syndicate in Gangnam. Headlined by Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Im Se Mi, the newest action-crime drama is definitely for thrill-seekers.

Directed by Park Geun Beom and Han Dong Wook of "Girl on the Edge" and "Man in Love," the 12-episode K-drama depicts how a low-ranking detective accepts the dangerous task of infiltrating a large syndicate in return for his promotion.

Ji Chang Wook takes on the role of detective Park Joon Mo, a low-ranking detective who sees promotion as his leverage for his overachieving wife, Yoo Eui Jung, played by Im Se Mi. Although they are okay with their marriage, his family belittles him for having a lower position than his wife, who works as an elite narcotics officer.

Meanwhile, Joon Mo's world gets smaller as his new boss, Jung Ki Chul, played by Wi Ha Joon, knows Eui Jung way back during his school.

In fact, she is his first love, which makes the situation more difficult for Park Joon Mo.

'The Worst of Evil' Episodes 4 - 5 Release Date

After airing the first three episodes, Disney+ is set to broadcast two new episodes next week.

This means that "The Worst of Evil" episodes 4 and 5 will air simultaneously on October 4.

Viewers get to watch this through Disney+ and Hulu.

'The Worst of Evil' Episode 3 Recap

The third episode began with a background story about Jung Ki Chul and Yoo Eui Jung's connection. It was revealed that they have known each other since high school, and both were part of the church choir.

Things turned differently for Ki Chul after his mother was sentenced for murder. Due to this, he and his younger sister were the ones left alone and had to survive all by themselves.

Fast forward to the present time, and Jung Ki Chul received a tip about Yoo Eui Jung's husband, who works as a cop.

Running a series of investigations about the husband, Ki Chul learned that his name was Park Joon Mo. In one scene, he asked Kwon Seung Ho if he knew Eui Jung's husband was Joon Mo can't hide his nervousness, but thankfully, the police were able to fix it ahead of time and replace his photo with Seok Do Hyung's colleague.

One of the main highlights of "The Worst of Evil" epispode 3 is Park Joon Mo's plan to get the trust of Jung Ki Chul.

They staged a fight with the police, thinking that they were thugs from a different city. Kwon Heung So's took the opportunity to show his loyalty to the gang boss and even ended up hurting himself.

Fortunately for him, Ki Chul seems to trust Seung Ho more now after the incident.
