‘My Lovely Boxer’ Episode 12: Did Lee Sang Yeob & Kim So Hye Rekindle Their Love for Each Other?

'My Lovely Boxer' Episode 12: Kim Oh Bok Kidnapped Kim Tae Young
In "My Lovely Boxer" episode 12, Lee Kwon Sook competed in the title match against Ah Reum and finished it without regrets. She saw Kim Tae Young and felt relieved before the game began. However, minutes later, she couldn't find him and started to feel anxious.
Kim Tae Young was kidnapped by Kim Oh Bok's (Park Ji Hwan) gang. The two confronted each other and the latter threatened Chul Young that if Lee Kwon Sook won the game, Tae Young would die.
At the stadium, which was filled with loud cheers from the audience, the title match began. Kwon Sook who was searching for Tae Young while in the ring got knocked out by Ah Reum.

Her father, Chul Yong, arrived to wake Kwon Sook up, which she did, and continued the game. She threw fast and strong punches to her rival and the match got intense as both of them started bleeding after exchanging hard punches.
Lee Kwon Sook Retires From Boxing After Losing Title Match
In the end, Kwon Sook lost to Ah Reum by decision. Despite being rivals, the boxing prodigy went to Ah Reum and shared a heartwarming moment.
With Kwon Sook's defeats, Oh Bok and his subordinates all cheered. He went to Tae Young and raised his gun and threatened him to pay for his betrayal. Just when he was about to hit him, the police came, thanks to Chul Yong's report. Strong gunshots rang out and created tension.
In her last interview, Lee Kwon Sook mentioned Kim Tae Young and thanked him for making her return to boxing without any regrets. It was then she announced that she would retire from the said sport.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae Young went to the stadium before he surrendered to the police. He shed tears as he watched Kwon Sook from afar. Chul Yong hugged his daughter.

A year later, with Chairman Nam's arrest, Kim Tae Young was able to clear Hee Won's name. He then found the courage to face Lee Kwon Sook again. He surprised her and shared a romantic kiss, rekindling their love for each other.
