Ha Lee Chan Accepts Choi Se Kyung's Challenge
"Twinkling Watermelon" episode 3 takes viewers to the life of Ha Lee Chan (Choi Hyun Wook).
As a teen, he lives an extremely easy-going life without a care in the world even in his studies. However, after falling in love with Choi Se Kyung (Seol In Ah), everything changed.
Ha Lee Chan begins to exert more effort into other things, and even does his best to become her boyfriend.
When Choi Se Kyung asks him to form a band and play Nirvana's "Come As You Are," he doesn't think twice to make the most out of it just so he can win her heart.
Ha Eun Gyeol Meets His Dad
Ha Lee Chan starts to recruit band members from the school. Unfortunately, they don't have a guitarist which hinders the band's practice.
He then asks a popular guitarist to check in with them but he mistakes the guy with Ha Eun Gyeol (Ryeoun), which sends his plan to waste.
Meanwhile, Ha Eun Gyeol is left with no money and no place to stay. He spends the night under a bridge among the homeless people.

The musical shop owner calls him, revealing the mission he needs to accomplish. He must find the purpose of his time travel in order to return back to his old life.
Choi Se Kyung & Yoon Chung Ah Become Friends
Ha Eun Gyeol realizes that he doesn't know much about his parents. Through this time travel phenomenon, he plans to find out more about them.
On the other hand, Yoon Chung Ah (Shin Eun Soo), the school's ice princess who is deaf, grows closer to Choi Se Kyung through handwritten notes.
When the latter learns about her friend's favorite band, she manages to get VIP tickets for their concert the next day.
However, Yoon Chung Ah gets into a fight with a classmate who steals her painting idea and submits it to a competition.
Ha Lee Chan & Yoon Chung Ah Fatefully Meet
Ha Lee Chan sets out to complete his band. After learning that he's his father's younger version, Ha Eun Gyeol tries to befriend him.
Because of their previous encounter, Ha Lee Chan refuses to entertain him. He then runs away as far as possible so that he even bumps into another foe who is after him.

At the end of the episode, Ha Lee Chan enterts a secret room where Yoon Chung Ah, his future's wife's younger version, is in.
