Why Doesn't 'The Killing Vote' Have Romantic Scenes? Lim Ji Yeon Reveals

One of the first questions was about the difference between the webtoon and the K-drama adaptation.

According to Lim Ji Yeon, she was told by the writer not to read the webtoon, and so she did. As for Park Hae Jin, he read the webtoon and found that the adaptation is much different from the original one in terms of the characters, but the premise of the story remains the same.

He said that Lim Ji Yeon's character, Joo Hyun, "doesn't get to play much of the bigger parts" and was done by a male character.

On the other hand, viewers seemed to notice the chemistry between the two, which made the fans wonder if there would be a romantic plot anytime soon.

Lim Ji Yeon joked that there wouldn't be any because Park Hae Jin "didn't want it," which he immediately denied.

In "The Killing Vote," Park Hae Jin's character, Kim Moo Chan, is the lead detective who is on the case of Gaetal. He works with the cybercrime group led by Joo Hyun.

Meanwhile, one of the significant characters here is Kwon Seok Joo, a former professor and book author who becomes a prisoner after killing the person who murdered his daughter. Versatile actor Park Sung Woong plays the character.
