'Golden Rainbow' and 'Thrice Married Woman' Rivals For Ratings
MBC weekend drama "Golden Rainbow" and "Thrice Married Woman" are breaking their own records as the two dramas are battling for the top.
According to the ratings company Neilsen Korea, "Golden Rainbow" rated 15.4% in national ratings in its 13th episode.
The drama went up 0.5% from its last episode that rated 14.9% on December 8th. It broke records two episodes in a row as it broke the 15% mark.
"Golden Rainbow" features adult actors Yooey, Jung Il Woo, Lee Jae Yoon and Cha Ye Ryeon as it's showing a great ratings effect. Baek Won (played by Yooey) and Suh Do Young (played by Jung Il Woo) didn't recognize each other after 14 years but they realize each others' presence as this grew more popular among viewers.
"Thrice Married Woman" aired at the same time also showed great results. On this day, "Thrice Married Woman" rated 11.1%. This was 0.8% higher than the last episode at 10.3% of the 10th episode and broke its own record.
Meanwhile, 'King's Family' kept first place for weekend dramas with 33.4% in ratings.
