'Strong Girl Namsoon' Episode 2 Recap

After Gang Nam Soon's background was introduced in episode 1, viewers witnessed how she fulfilled her dream to find her family as she traveled all the way from Mongolia to South Korea.

Unfortunately, she experienced major setbacks from being scammed and living as a homeless person.

After the incident in the airplane, detective Kang Hee Shik took some of the passengers' belongings that seemed intriguing. It includes Namsoon's personal thighs, like the baton she had from her real parents and the souvenir from her beloved horse.

As soon as the police cleared her things, Hee Shik tried to contact her, but to no avail. That is because the woman, who pretended to be the leasing manager of the place that Namsoon was renting, conned her and even took her personal stuff like her passport, money, and cellphone.

However, being the positive person that she is, she tried to find a way out of the situation and built a tent, or what she calls a "ger," in the middle of the park.

Interestingly, she was joined by two homeless hippies that she met at the park.

On the other hand, Kang Hee Shik was able to meet Namsoon after a few locals complained about tents at the park.

He saw a helpless Namsoon feeling defeated by what happened to her, but all thanks to Kang Hee Shik, he promised to help her find her parents and even gave her a phone so he could communicate with her regarding her family.

As for her real mother, Hwang Geum Joo, she has already found out about Hwang Ja, the woman who is posing as her daughter.

Her assistant found out that Hwang Ja wanted to con Geum Joo and all her money by pretending to be her daughter.

But Geum Joo wanted her secretary to secretly follow Hwang Ja because she felt that her daughter was somewhere near her.

In the last scene, as Namsoon is preparing to get a passport replacement, she goes to a studio where her real father operates.

It hints that Kang Bong Go recognized her daughter, Nam Soon.
