‘Strong Girl Namsoon’ Episode 3: Ong Seung Wu Makes Lee Yoo Mi’s Dream Come True
"Strong Girl Namsoon" episode 3 showcased a lot of surprises for viewers as Lee Yoo Mi's character gets reunited with her mother.
Based on the hit K-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," the JTBC spin-off depicts the story of three generations of strong women who were bound by special abilities.
Interestingly, they use their powers for the common good in hopes of making their neighborhood peaceful.
'Strong Girl Namsoon' Episode 3 Viewership
After a successful premiere week, "Strong Girl Namsoon" episode 3 recorded an impressive viewership rating.
In a report, Nielsen Korea cited that the much-awaited episode garnered an average nationwide rating of 8.0 percent, the show's all-time high since it made its debut.
Moreover, the rom-com Serious took first place in its slot across all cable channels.
Viewers could watch the latest episode of "Strong Girl Namsoon" via SBS for local audiences and Netflix for global fans.
'Strong Girl Namsoon' Episode 3 Recap
The episode continued in a scene where Gang Nam Soon met her biological father, Gang Bong Go, who was running a photography studio. However, she wasn't able to recognize her because the last time they met was years ago in Mongolio.
As for the father, he knew that it was her long-lost daughter after he heard that she was from Mongolia.
Unfortunately, Gang Nam Soon left without knowing that her father was right in front of her.

Interestingly, after a series of investigations and a bit of luck, police detective Kang Hee Shik found clues regarding Nam Soon's family.
At this point, he was able to solve the puzzle that the missing daughter of Chaebol Hwang Geum Joo was Nam Soon.
He called Ms. Hwang and told her that Nam Soon is with her and wants to meet her.
As for Nam Soon, of course she is thrilled to see her mother and couldn't thank Hee Shik for keeping his promise and for all the help he has given her.
On the other hand, "Strong Girl Namsoon" episode 3 also featured a cameo of Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young as they reprised their roles in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
In the episode, they were introduced as husband and wife and unexpectedly met the legendary Gil Joong Gan, who is Do Bong Soon's relative.
Meanwhile, in the last scene, Nam Soon was on her way to meet her mother but stumbled upon a fire accident.
A building with young residents was caught on fire, and being a concerned citizen, she helped the kids escape the burning building.
At the same time, Hwang Geum Joo, who was also near the area, used her strength to save people.
Interestingly, it was Nam Soon who needed help. Just in the nick of time, Geum Joo saves her daughter from a burning building.
