Lee Sun Gyun's Drug Case Involvement Affects Yoo Jae Myung's Career

On October 20, "Parasite" actor Lee Sun Gyun became the talk of the town after he got embroiled for illegally using marijuana. As of this writing, he is under investigation.

It was assumed that his upcoming works namely "No Way Out" and "The Land of Happiness" would be affected by the scandal. Due to this, K-netizens realized that a popular supporting actor would be affected by the ongoing issue.

He is none other than "Vincenzo" actor Yoo Jae Myung. The veteran actor starred in two projects with Lee Sun Gyun.

According to reports, the "No Way Out" might get a revamp, depending on the costs and other considerations. The series might also get canceled.

Adding to the affected work is the movie "The Land of Happiness." It has already completed filming in January 2022 and due to the issue involving Lee Sun Gyun, the film's scheduled premiere is likely to be postponed indefinitely.

Yoo Jae Myung's Projects Put On Hold Due Following Lee Sun Gyun's Scandals

Aside from this, Yoo Jae Myung's upcoming work "Firefighter" was postponed as one of his co-stars, Kwak Do Won, was charged with drunk driving last September 2022.

The movie "Season of You and Me," starring Yoo Jae Myung, is also put on hold as its lead star Kim Dong Hee was accused of school bullying in 2021.

Due to these back-to-back issues, Korean netizens expressed their frustrations as Yoo Jae Myung's career would be greatly affected by his co-stars' involvement in various scandals.
