‘Twinkling Watermelon’ Episode 9: Ryeoun & Choi Hyun Wook’s Friendship Gets Tested

As the battle of the bands draws nearer, Choi Hyun Wook is more adamant than ever to recruit Ryeoun back to his band.

However, things go crazy as Ryeoun puts his friendship with Choi Hyun Wook in jeopardy after he gets intimate with the latter's dream girl.

Ha Lee Chan Convinces Ha Eun Gyeol

"Twinkling Watermelon" episode 9 begins with Ha Lee Chan (Choi Hyun Wook) convincing Ha Eun Gyeol (Ryeoun) to join his band again.

However, the latter reveals that he also likes Choi Se Kyung (Seol In Ah), which makes it difficult for them to move around in the same place.

Ha Eun Gyeol agrees to join the band on one condition: Ha Lee Chan must give up on Choi Se Kyung, infuriating the other which later breaks into a huge fight.

On Eun Yoo Goes To Find The Truth

Yoon Chung Ah (Shin Eun Soo) helps Ha Lee Chan to escape the school vicinity before he gets punished by the teachers.

Elsewhere, Choi Se Kyung puts Ha Eun Gyeol through a test, asking whether he truly likes her. Sadly, they get caught by the school principal.

Choi Se Kyung invites Ha Eun Gyeol to a date to check his spice tolerance. This is On Eun Yoo's way to find out who her mother's first love is.

Ha Lee Chan Suggests A Truce

Ha Lee Chan also invites Ha Eun Gyeol to dinner to come up with a solution where they can work together as a band. They ultimately decide to stay away from Choi Se Kyung.

However, Ha Lee Chan thinks that Ha Eun Gyeol will blow everything up to form a relationship with Choi Se Kyung behind his back.

To keep the peace between them, the band decides to hire Yoon Chang Ah as their art designer and Choi Se Kyung as their official photographer.

Ha Eun Gyeol Breaks His Promise

Ha Eun Gyeol takes Choi Se Kyung to a faraway place to capture a beautiful scenery while Ha Lee Chan checks out the art works that Yoon Chung Ah created.

He then discovers that she once drew his face, leaving him confused with his feelings. Elsewhere, Ha Eun Gyeol and Choi Se Kyung get candid about their raw feelings and thoughts.

At the end of episode 9, Ha Eun Gyeol leans in for a kiss, raising tension among the viewers as to what will happen next, especially with the former's relationship with Ha Lee Chan.
