Lee Seung Gi Makes First Public Appearance Following US Tour Controversy
Lee Seung Gi made his return to the Korean stage following his solo activities abroad.
To recall, beginning in January, the singer-actor went across the globe to meet his fans through his solo concerts.
In August, the singer-actor embarked on his first US tour including Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York. However, he did not perform in the said areas due to various circumstances. The celebrity became a hot topic online after his New York concert was canceled, which was announced a few days before the show.
His agency immediately released a statement explaining that the reason for canceling the event was due to some problems from the venue's side. However, it was later discovered that Lee Seung Gi's company lied to the public that the real reason was the concert had low ticket sales.

Their concert company partner in the US also revealed that the "Vagabond" star canceled his visit at the last minute to Korean restos in Atlanta that had sponsored his concert.
The actor's agency stated that it was canceled due to physical state recovery reasons, but then found out that the artist partied with his staff until 2:30 in the morning.
As Lee Seung Gi returned to Korea to do various solo and collab projects, the singer-actor finally broke his silence about the issue.
Lee Seung Gi Apologizes, Addresses Issue
On October 26, he attended a presscon for an upcoming show, and he used the opportunity to address the controversy. Lee Seung Gi even made a public apology in front of the press.
According to the Korean star, "I believe 2023 has been a year of strengthening for me. I have been going through extreme training myself, but various external factors also trained me hard, making me stronger."
He continued, "I would like to apologize to everyone, including my fans and those people involved, who were stressed because of the things that were recently going around me. I feel like I have matured going through all that though."
Lee Seung Gi attended the presscon of the upcoming talent show "Sing Again 3" where he is expected to be part of the program. It will be his first screen activity after finishing his solo commitments abroad.
