IN THE LOOP: ‘Vigilante,’ ‘Goryeo-Khitan War,’ More New K-dramas Airing This Week
Another month means another set of exciting new K-dramas for November.
After the spooky season, it's time to welcome the holiday with a round of upcoming series. From thrillers to action and fantasy romance-you name it-networks and streaming platforms are offering new Kdramas this month.
For the second week of November, here are some new K-dramas that you shouldn't miss.
Upcoming K-drama: 'Vigilante'
Following Ji Chang Wook's action-packed series "The Worst of Evil," Disney+ has released another crime-thriller K-drama starring Nam Joo Hyuk.
Portraying the role of a diligent university police student, Kim Ji Yong lives a double life as he takes on another task.
He becomes the mysterious vigilante by day who punishes criminals who escaped justice as he takes matters into his own hands.
Joining as the lead star is Yoo Ji Tae as detective Cho Heon, whose mission is to go after the vigilante.

Adding to the cast is Lee Joon Hyuk as the second-generation chaebol named Cho Kang Ok, who supports vigilantes.
Disney+'s "Vigilante" premieres on November 8 with a total of 8 episodes for the whole season.
Upcoming K-drama: 'Goryeo-Khitan War'
Based on the novel "Goryeo-Khitan War: Sweet Rain in the Winter," KBS2 will introduce the historical K-drama "Goryeo-Khitan War," headlined by Kim Dong Joon, Choi Soo Jong, and Ji Seung Hyun.
Focusing on the second and third periods of the Goryeo-Khitan War, which took place between the Liao dynasty of China and the Goryeo dynasty of Korea, it depicts the story of Goryeo's Emperor along with his Commander-in-Chief, Gang Gam Chan.
Their mission is to unite the people of Goryeo and continue the war against the Khitan-led Liao dynasty.
"Goryeo-Khitan War" will officially premiere on November 11 and will be the newest Saturday and Sunday K-drama.
Global viewers could also stream it via Netflix.
Ongoing K-drama: 'Strong Girl Namsoon'
Based on the hit K-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," JTBC released a spin-off starring Lee Yoo Mi.
"Strong Girl Namsoon" depicts the story of three generations of strong women who are passionate about going against drug-related activities in their neighborhood.
Joining Lee Yoo Mi is Kim Jung Eun as her mother, Hwang Geum Joo. She is a multimillionaire who made a lot of money through her great entrepreneurial skills.
She uses her wealth and power for a good cause and cooperates with the authorities regarding the information she gets about drug activities.
Adding to the list of lead actors is Kim Hae Sook as the legendary Gil Joong Gan.
A respected individual in her neighborhood, she is the mother of Geum Joo, who also does the same thing as her daughter in terms of protecting their town.
"Strong Girl Namsoon" airs every Saturday and Sunday via JTBC and Netflix.
