The Hallyu scene is in for a big scale project as veteran stars Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon and Kim Sung Kyun team up in the upcoming Netflix show "Karma."

Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, More To Headline Thriller Drama 'Karma'

On November 9, Netflix raised the tension for K-drama lovers as it announced the production of the new thriller series "Karma."

It also confirmed the star-studded lineup including Park Hae Soon, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo and Gong Seung Yeon.

The webtoon-based K-drama is a crime thriller that follows the lives of different people who are entangled with one another through an ill-fated relationship which they can't escape from.

"Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" scene-stealer Park Hae Soo takes on a mysterious character who gets on an irreversible deal after witnessing an accident.

Meanwhile, Shin Min Ah says goodbye to her "K-drama darling" image as she plays a doctor suffering from a lifetime trauma. Things become complicated when she sees someone she never wants to meet again.

Lee Hee Joon of "Mouse" plays a sabotaged cryptocurrency investor while "Sinkhole" actor Kim Sung Kyun makes a deal with the devil when he unfairly gets sacked from his job.

Last but not the least, Lee Kwang Soo and Gong Seung Yeon play the roles of lovers who get into an unexpected incident that changes the course of their lives forever.

Due to their conflicting desires as humans, they find themselves in a sticky situation that they can never be free from even if they want to, which raises the anticipation for the Netflix work.

'Karma' Further Details & What We Know So Far

The upcoming star-studded Netflix show is based on the webcomic of the same name which was published by Choi Hee Sun in 2019 on Kakao.

"Karma" has an established fanbase, which raises the expectations for the live action to a new level. Thankfully, it will be written and directed by Lee Il Hyung, the director of the hit movie "Remember" which was released in 2022.

With his expertise and the cast's immersive acting abilities, "Karma" is expected to show a spine-chilling thriller work that will depict life's reality, consequences and more.
