After stealing the spotlight in Hallyu, these notable stars Park Seo Joon, Youn Yuh Jung, and more finally made their way to the US and proudly fulfilled their dreams of making it to Hollywood.
Park Seo Joon
From drama rom-coms, Park Seo Joon expanded his career and successfully made his Hollywood debut through "The Marvels." In one of his past interviews, he mentioned wanting to make it in American entertainment, and this 2023, the actor finally fulfilled one of his goals and might continue to receive more projects soon.
He even expressed his gratitude for appearing in the movie "I find it amazing that I'm able to appear in this film. I am fascinated by everything."

In her 57 years in the industry, this veteran actress also achieved another milestone in her acting career at the age of 70 as Youn Yuh Jung finally dominated Hollywood. She became the first Korean actress to win an Oscar through the 2021 movie "Minari."
After accepting the title, she humbly expressed her feelings about winning the Oscar, "I guess I used all my luck to get to this spot. Maybe it's thanks to the American hospitality for Korean actors.
She also received praise from Foreign media outlets such as CNN and the Washington Post for stealing the spotlight at the prestigious award show.
Ma Dong Seok
With his strong presence on screen and professionalism at work, this talented actor had his break in Hollywood through the "Marvels" movie "Eternals." It became Ma Dong Seok's ticket to enter American Entertainment and met brilliant stars in the same field.
Now, Ma Dong Seok is one of the most respected actors in South Korea and most of the genres that he does are action and adventure.
