Hwang Jung Min dishes on his experience filming his new movie "12.12: The Day" with Jung Woo Sung.

During his appearance on Shin Dong Yup's YouTube channel, the veteran actor mentioned the bizarre reasons why he avoids alcohol and seeing his reflection in the mirror.

Hwang Jung Min Reveals His Drinking Limit and Reasons He Avoids Looking in the Mirror

In a report obtained by a local media outlet, Hwang Jung Min revealed that his drinking limit was one bottle.

According to him, if he takes too much, he will surely have a lobster-red face and neck, also known as the Asian flush by some.

"In the past, there was a time when drinking was cracked down with paper cups. My face is usually red," he said, adding, "I couldn't smell it, but my face was red."

Although a bottle of soju makes him "feel good," as mentioned by the actor, he said that it's always been like this whenever he drinks too much beyond his limit.

Other than his drinking limit, Hwang Jung Min also joked about seeing himself in the mirror.

When Shin Dong Yup mentioned how good-looking Jung Woo Sung is, the actor jokingly said that he sometimes finds it annoying.

"That's why it's annoying. It's a burden. But it's not uncomfortable," he said.

As for Hwang Jung Min, he said that he "has never looked in the mirror," and the reason for this is that he doesn't like his facial features.

"It was stressful because my face turned red and people kept asking questions," he said, referring to how he would easily blush or get surprised answering unfamiliar questions.

In addition, he also mentioned having naturally curly hair, adding that in his 2013 movie "New World," he didn't have any wigs or extensions, but it was his real hair.

Whenever Hwang Jung Min gets compliments about his good looks, he downplays them.

"When I hear people say I'm good-looking, I think to myself, 'You're kidding me," he jokingly mentioned.

Best known for his striking characters, Hwang Jung Min starred in "Narco Saints" as Korean drug dealer Pastor Jeon Yo Hwan.

Following the success of his movie with Hyun Bin in "The Point Men," he returns with another amazing team-up as he headlines the action political film "12.12: The Day" with Jung Woo Sung.
