At the press conference of "Single in Seoul," together with the cast and director Park Bum Soo, Lee Dong Wook revealed he had been looking forward to working with Im Soo Jung since the "Search: WWW" days.

As mentioned by a news outlet, during the interview, Lee Dong Wook recalled the time when he appeared in the 2019 K-drama "Search: WWW," where Im Soo Jung played as one of the main characters.

Appearing in episode 7, he took on the role of Im Soo Jung's ex-boyfriend. According to the actor, he felt "a little regretful" that he only had a special appearance at the time, adding, "I had a good impression of Im Soo Jung, and I really wanted to act with her again. Luckily, the opportunity quickly came to me."
It seemed like he manifested working with the actress because, after four years, they both starred in the rom-com film.
Interestingly, now that they have reunited for "Single in Seoul," Lee Dong Wook described his co-star as someone who is "very detailed and meticulous."
Moreover, the actor also mentioned how Im Soo Jung "helped" him a lot to play his character as well as director Park Bum Soo.
"She played an important role, and the director often asked for her opinions in several scenes."
As for the actress, she revealed that Lee Dong Wook harbors a "relaxed attitude" on the set and mentions his pleasant personality.

Lee Dong Wook shared in the press conference that he is somehow similar to his character, Young Ho, because they both live alone and have been single for quite some time.
"My single life is pretty much the same. I rest, eat what I like, and watch TV whenever I want."
However, there's one thing that's different between him and the character.
"Young Ho thinks people who don't like living alone are wrong, while I don't think so."

Im Soo Jung and Lee Dong Wook's new movie is a realistic love story between a popular influencer and editor-in-chief.
In the movie, the actor takes on the role of a popular essayist and influencer named Young Ho, while Im Soo Jung plays as Hyun Jin, the editor-in-chief at a publishing company.
Despite having a different point of view on love and life, the duo met while working on a book about being single.
The rom-com movie is set to hit the big screen on November 29.
