Nam Yoon Su Completes 'Love in the Big City' Lineup

Following his return to the silver screen with "Soulmate," the actor confirmed his appearance in the upcoming film with Kim Go Eun and Noh Sang Hyun.

Earlier this November, the "The King's Affection" star surprised his fans with his upcoming comeback with the novel-based romance film "Love in the Big City."

It's a work that depicts the love and separation of the easy-going generation, and how it is to be gay in South Korea. It also revolves around sensitive themes like HIV, homosexuality and more.

Through "Love in the Big City," fans expect to see a new side of Nam Yoon Su that he hasn't shown in his previous works before. The film is predicted to be the actor's breakthrough in Hallyu.

Details about the work aren't announced yet including its premiere dates and additional cast. However, the film is expected to greet the silver screens in early 2024 so stay tuned.

Nam Yoon Su Headlines New Kakao TV Series

Aside from his new film, he's also set to headline the upcoming Kakao TV show "Borrowed Body." It's a fantasy drama which follows two students with opposing personalities who switch bodies mysteriously.

In the series, Nam Yoon Su plays Lee Sang Yoo, a third year high school student who is caught in an unexpected incident where he switches bodies with his crush Ki Da Rim, played by Park Hye Eun.

Things get even more complicated when Ryeoun's crush Yoon Ho Young comes into the mix, raising excitement among the fans.

"Borrowed Body" not only will effectively portray the fantasy elements of body switching but it will also show how teenagers become mature when it comes to modern day romance.

The series will be released on Kakao TV with a total of 15 episodes in the first half of 2024. Make sure to catch its premiere.
