The upcoming K-drama is a romance series that depicts the story of ex-lovers who get reunited and have a chance to continue their relationship.

In "I'm Against My Romance," viewers will get to see a love story that stimulates memories and fantasies of their first love.

Other than the two lead stars, the upcoming romance series will be under the direction of Lee Eung Bok, who directed hit K-dramas "Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," "Mr. Sunshine," and Netflix's "Sweet Home"

While working with the cast lineup, the forthcoming series is expected to broadcast on TVN in 2024.

As mentioned, "I'm Against My Romance" will be Lee Jong Suk's first K-drama in two years after landing the challenging role of Park Chang Ho in MBC's "Big Mouth," where he starred alongside Im YoonAh.

Lee Jong Suk Update

Other than his possible comeback on the small screen, Lee Jong Suk underwent big adjustments in terms of his agency.

As mentioned by a news outlet on September 20, HighZium Studio confirmed that the actor did not renew his contract with the label.

"We are letting you know that the strategic partnership signed by HighZium Studio and A-MAN Project last year will expire at the end of October, after actor Lee Jong Suk's ongoing 2023 fan meeting tour."

Other than this, the South Korean star was busy with off-screen activities such as his fan meet, which kicked off in Hong Kong on July 1, followed by Taipei and Jakarta in the same month.

The actor continued the fan meet in Dubai and Bangkok in August while having the meet and greet in Seoul, Osaka, and Tokyo in September.

Wrapping up the fan meet tour, he went on to Singapore, Macau, and finally Ho Chi Minh City in October.
