Ryu Jun Yeol Shares Funny Story Involving His Age Gap With ‘Alienoid’ Part 2 Star Kim Woo Bin
Ryu Jun Yeol talks about his age difference with Kim Woo Bin and why the staff members of "Alienoid" Part 2 thought that he was older than him.
During the press conference for the upcoming movie, lead stars Kim Tae Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, and more, along with Choi Dong Hoon, graced the stage as they talked about the upcoming sequel.
One of the questions asked about the cast is their working relationship with each other.
Kim Woo Bin and Ryu Jun Yeol Dishes on Their Closeness on the Set of 'Alienoid' Part 2
As mentioned by SBS Star, Kim Woo Bin said he had a great time filming the sequel as compared to the part-time job because he got to film with other cast members, especially Ryu Jun Yeol.
Gushing over his talent and how he is on the set, Kim Woo Bin described his co-star as "amazing actor."
"He's filled with such good energy as well, so I got to receive that sort of good energy from him while filming with him."

It can be recalled that the 34-year-old star mentioned in his interview for "Alienoid" Part 1 that he filmed most of his scenes alone and felt lonely throughout the shoot.
Now that the majority of the cast returns with Part 2, it seems like they really had a great time doing the movie, especially Kim Woo Bin and Ryu Jun Yeol.
Speaking of Ryu Jun Yeol, the actor shared a funny story they experienced on the set of an upcoming movie.
The "Reply 1988" star mentioned his age gap with Kim Woo Bin and said that he is three years older than him, making him 37 years old.
However, the staff members thought that was Kim Woo Bin, who was older than him.
"My guess is that it was because Woo Bin was this responsible dude that they could rely on. I mean, Woo Bin does have more experience in this field than I do," he said.
Interestingly, Ryu Jun Yeol shared a ton of benefits of being younger than his co-star, or as the staff thought.
"So, thanks to that, I didn't really feel pressure about being the older one. In fact, I felt quite relaxed and free on site. It was all thanks to Woo Bin."
'Alienoid' Part 2 Release Date
The action adventure film was initially released in July 2022, with Kim Tae Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol, and Kim Woo Bin headlines.
Interestingly, in January 2024, the movie returns with Part 2 with a mix of returning and new characters.
"Alienoid" Part 2 is helmed by Choi Dong Hoon, who worked with "The Thieves," "Assassination," and the movie "Jeon Woo Chi."
Meanwhile, fans will be seeing a star-studded cast featuring So Ji Sub, Honey Lee, Yum Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, and Jin Sun Kyu.
