Hong Ye Ji Lands New K-Drama With EXO Suho

On November 23, OSEN News reported that rising star Hong Ye Ji confirmed her participation in the new MBN series "The Crown Prince Has Disappeared."

Earlier this month, EXO Suho and Myung Se Bin of "Doctor Cha" were announced to headline the historical drama. It depicts the turbulent escape of the crown prince after being bossed around by his future queen.

In the series, Myung Se Bin plays the queen regent while EXO Suho transforms into her son, the crown prince, who is set to marry a beautiful Joseon maiden.

Big Whale Entertainment, Hong Ye Ji's agency, shared that the idol-actress takes on the role of Choi Myung Yoon, a noble bachelorette gifted in the field of medicine and horseback riding.

Attention is given to the rising actress who's currently widening her acting spectrum. With her cider-like charms, she's expected to bring youthful energy on the table.

Prior to this work, Hong Ye Ji is set to meet the public with the forthcoming romance drama "Love Song For Illusion," which raises excitement for the new production.

Currently, "The Crown Prince Has Disappeared" is in the middle of its filming, and it's intended to be aired in the first half of 2024.

Hong Ye Ji Heralds Youthful Romance With Park Ji Hoon

The year 2024 welcomes the avid K-drama fans with an exciting historical rom-com with Hong Ye Ji and Park Ji Hoon.

Teaming up for the first time, the two singer-actors will decorate prime time with "Love Song For Illusion," which tells the romance between a man with conflicting personalities and a woman who loves him the same way.

The series marks Park Ji Hoon's first-ever dual role challenge as he gives life to Sajo Hyun and Ak Hee, Joseon era's crown prince and his mischievous alter ego.

Meanwhile, Hong Ye Ji plays assassin-turned-concubine Yeon Wol. She's a woman who steals the crown prince and his alter ego's attention with her charisma.
