Lee Honey Reveals Filming Drama Without Knowing She Was Pregnant
K-drama actress Lee Honey shared more stories of her journey in becoming a first-time mom and how she didn't know she was pregnant when filming a project.

Lee Honey Looks Back on Her Life in Entertainment as Actress & Beauty Queen
On November 28, Lee Honey appeared as a guest on CBS, a talk show on YouTube where she looked back on her life from her acting career to giving birth.
Many have known that Lee Honey entered the entertainment industry after she won Miss Korea in 2006. During her rookie days, she was a YG trainee learning to play instruments and pursuing various lessons, and in the afternoon she went to work. She mentioned training together with 2NE1 members at that time.
She explained how she ended up joining Miss Korea, "My mom thought that I would grow up pretty far from ordinary people. After how much she caught it, it was wrong to live normally. And we had some arguments." Eventually, after attempts, Lee Honey followed her mom to join the pageant.
Apart from her beauty contest journey, Lee Honey also revealed her experience suffering from a slump in acting.
"Actor is not something that I talk to people about. It is something that people call me as an actor. And I thought I needed time." The beauty queen shared that no matter how much she put energy into her role before, she realized that she was not fully ready yet to act again.
"I know that there's still a long way to go, and I have to allow that time and it can be a year, three years, or 10 years. So I thought I was too arrogant and that I wanted to do things in an instant without pain and sweat."
Lee Honey said that after spending almost a decade of practice and honing her craft, people already know her as an actress rather than Miss Korea.

The veteran actress also mentioned her husband who planned almost everything from their wedding to establishing a family on their own. The couple planned to get married before the start of "Wonder Woman" and so she had to travel back and forth to Korea.
When she met her husband, she was shooting "One The Woman" and they have been in a long-distance relationship. They met for a short time in September, and the actress confessed that she couldn't imagine she was already pregnant while filming the drama.
"One day, I woke up and my face was swollen. I called him and told him about it and he told me to have a pregnancy test and it turned out to be real." Lee Honey added, "I filmed a lot of action scenes during that time and I just prayed and hoped that God would protect our child. That's how the baby survived."
