Lee Jae Wook Transforms Into Martial Arts Expert In New Drama

On November 28, another secret cast member of "Death's Game" was finally revealed.

Lee Jae Wook's first-ever stills in his new acting role were shared, much to fans' excitement. He joins the star-studded show, following his success as a young mage in "Alchemy of Souls."

In the play, Lee Jae Wook transforms into Jo Tae Sang, a mixed martial arts fighter who gave up on his dreams due to his family's difficult financial situation.

While living without a set goal in life, he finds himself in prison, waiting for his release. The published photos capture Jo Tae Sang's charisma as he takes power inside the detention center.

Despite being outnumbered, he maintains his cool and penetrating gaze that adds tension to the upcoming drama. Attention is also given to Jo Tae Sang whether he will be able to leave prison.

On the other hand, "Death's Game" follows the life of a jaded man who gets punished by Death itself after giving up on his life and his dreams.

Lee Jae Wook Shares Preparations For 'Death's Game'

Following his performance in "Alchemy of Souls" in the past year, Lee Jae Wook successfully cemented his name as a rising actor of his generation.

The 25-year-old star challenges himself with the thriller genre while meeting veteran stars like Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, Sung Hoon, Kim Ji Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Oh Jung Se and more.

To give life to Jo Tae Sang, Lee Jae Wook personally filmed and took on eight one-on-one fight scenes without acting double. Prior to filming, he attended action school to perfect his angles, choreography and body language.

Through "Death's Game," the viewers will be able to see Lee Jae Wook's emotional acting and intense portrayal of an artist. Don't miss "Death's Game" debut this December 15 on TVING.
