Kim Hye Soo Ranks First In Brand Reputation List

Recently, Kim Hye Soo caused a huge stir in the Hallyu scene after deciding to step down from hosting the annual Blue Dragon Film Awards.

For more than three decades, the actress has been the face of the prestigious ceremony. Lee Byung Hun, Jo In Sung, Go Min Si and several rookie stars who look up to Kim Hye Soo mentioned the actress in their speeches for her undying passion and support.

Although her Blue Dragon era comes to an end, Kim Hye Soo continues to reign as a top star, ranking first in the actor brand reputation this November.

The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, which analyzes data through market growth and huge scope of media, released the official list of actors who dominated the month of November.

Kim Hye Soo ranked first, proving her popularity and influence among the public. She bested Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin who currently headline historical romance "My Dearest."

Lee Byung Hun, Park Bo Young, Han Hyo Joo, Byun Woo Seok, Lee Yu Mi, Choi Hyun Wook and Song Kang also made it to the top 10 list.

On the other hand, Kim Hye Soo also received recognition as Best Actress for her amazing performance in the high-grossing film "Smugglers," which won Best Picture at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

Kim Hye Soo's Upcoming Works & More

This 2023, Kim Hye Soo returned to the theaters with the action film "Smugglers" opposite Jo In Sung, Go Min Si and more.

In the film, viewers were able to see the life of female divers who get involved in a huge scale smuggling operation by the sea. "Smugglers" grossed over 4 million USD within two weeks of release, becoming the highest grossing film of the year.

On the other hand, Kim Hye Soo is preparing for her sci-fi film "Return" with Hwang Jung Min, where she transforms into an astronaut who explores space to find a missing colleague.

The production of the work is currently on-going, and it's intended to be released in early 2024 so stay tuned for more updates.
