Ji Woo Boasts Fierce Visuals In 'Love Song For Illusion' Teaser

On December 2, KBS2's new romance drama "Love Song For Illusion" shared brand new teasers featuring rising actress Ji Woo.

The new series follows the chaotic romance between a man with conflicting personalities and a woman who loves him the same way.

Park Ji Hoon portrays the roles of crown prince Sajo Hyun and his alter ego Ak Hee while Hong Ye Ji stars as an assassin-turned-concubine named Yeon Wol.

Meanwhile, Ji Woo joins the main ensemble as the fierce queen Geum Hwa. The ambitious and power-hungry wife of Sajo Hyun.

Geum Hwan is a character who has both good and evil within her which is captured in the still photos. When it comes to her own desires, she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

As Yeon Wol threatens her place, the two women get entangled in a fierce battle for power within the palace as well as the heart of the prince.

Focus is given to Ji Woo who challenges herself with a villainous role. Her chemistry with Park Ji Hoon and Hong Ye Ji as the main leads is also a factor to look forward to in the show.

Catch "Love Song For Illusion" this January 2024, following the conclusion of Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun's "The Matchmakers."

Ji Woo's Works & Upcoming Drama To Watch For

Born in 1997, rising actress Ji Woo received her breakthrough role in the second season of "Hello, My Twenties!" in 2017 where she assumed the role played by Season 1's Park Hye Soo.

She also gained traction for her detective role in the seasonal drama "The First Responders" with Kim Rae Won, Gong Seung Yeon and Son Ho Jun.

Following its conclusion, she was cast to appear in the high scale Netflix show "Gyeongseong Creature" with Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee where she plays gisaeng (an entertainer).
