Ahn Eun Jin Reveals ‘My Dearest’ Helped Her Financially: ‘Now I can buy whatever I want’

Ahn Eun Jin dished on the effects of headlining "My Dearest," along with Namgoong Min.

The 32-year-old actress, best known for her roles in "Hospital Playlist," "Kingdom," and "Strangers from Hell," talked about the changes in her life after getting the role of Yoo Gil Chae.

Together with Namgoong Min, the actress appeared as a guest on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," where host Yoo Jae Suk asked about their experience filming the series.

Ahn Eun Jin Talks About Life After 'My Dearest'

The actress expressed her gratitude for the MBC series as they wrapped up the two-part K-drama successfully and without anyone getting hurt.

After "My Dearest," Ahn Eun Jin said that she is spending time with herself and getting the rest she deserves.

"I'm spending the end of the year with gratitude for the love I've received. I've been filming throughout all four seasons in the past year. I've been sleeping too much. Even while watching TV, I would unintentionally fall asleep."

Other than catching up with a lot of me time, the 32-year-old actress dished on the positive effects of being part of the MBC series.

Talking about finances, Ahn Eun Jin acknowledged how "My Dearest" helped her a lot in terms of financial status.

She joked about "living comfortably without turning off the heater" and would "even set the temperature to 26 degrees in winter."

"It was fun to choose items on discount when shopping, but now I can buy whatever I want. Yesterday, I freely bought strawberries and Shine Muscat, and I can pour Greek yogurt as much as I want."

Ahn Eun Jin Discusses Working Relationship With 'My Dearest' Co-Star Namgoong Min

During the duo's guest appearance, the actress was surprised by a video featuring Namgoong Min expressing his gratitude to his co-star.

Sharing that the MBC K-drama "was the longest and most challenging drama" he has ever filmed, he went on and praised Ahn Eun Jin for her dedication, passion, good sense, and overall being a good person.

Describing her as the junior he adored, Namgoong Min wishes her all the best in her career, adding:

"I hope you become a world star."

As for the actress, Ahn Eun Jin confessed that she finds it "a bit awkward" to approach the actor because of his status in the industry.

However, she mentioned that working together with Namgoong Min "changed the way she communicated."

After "My Dearest," Ahn Eun Jin will headline the movie "Citizen of a Kind." The action-comedy film also features lead stars Gong Myung, Yeom Hye Ran, and more.
