"Sweet Home" star Lee Jin Wook surprised everyone with his confession after revealing that he reads hate comments online, and enjoys it.

During his interview, along with co-star Song Kang on Jang Do Yeon's show "Salon Drip," the actor shared a surprising revelation about himself.

While others refuse to avoid reading negative comments about themselves, Lee Jin Wook says otherwise.

Why Does Lee Jin Wook Enjoy Reading Hate Messages Online?

When asked about how they deal with social media, especially with the hate comments, the 42-year-old actor confessed that he reads "every single Instagram reply."

"Like every single one!"

According to him, he finds it "very entertaining" to read the reactions of fans, may they be funny comments or even those that are negative too.

"I also find hateful comments very funny too. How do people swear in such a variety of ways?"

On the other hand, he said that he doesn't get several online hate comments and joked about how the public is not interested in him.

Another thing that made Lee Jin Wook spend time on social media is how fans interact with everyone.

"I like how people from all over the world leave comments in Korean."

Lee Jin Wook then revealed receiving interesting questions, such as getting proposals from young fans. Song Kang chimed in and mentioned that fans would post memes that feature scenes from his previous drama.

However, Lee Jin Wook said that he didn't get as much, maybe because of the age difference.

"I didn't see anything like them."

Currently, Lee Jin Wook's Instagram has 658,000 followers and counting, and he is very active in updating his fans regarding his upcoming projects.

His latest posts include the "Sweet Home" Season 2 press conference and behind-the-scenes snaps.

What's Next for Lee Jin Wook After 'Sweet Home' Season 2?

The Netflix series is Lee Jin Wook's return to the small screen after the 2022 K-drama "Welcome to Wedding Hell," and his cameo role in "Doona."

Interestingly, he will return along with the majority of the cast in "Sweet Home" Season 3, which will air sometime in 2024.

Other than the show's third installment, Lee Jin Wook also joins another Netflix series. The 42-year-old actor is among the new cast members of the much-awaited "Squid Game" Season 2.

He will join the returning cats Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, and Wi Ha Joon together with the show's newcomers Kang Ha Neul, Im Siwan, fellow "Sweet Home" cast member Park Gyu Young, and more.
